Dr. Garcia graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Santo Tomas, in Manila, Philippines. He finished his training and internship at the Brooklyn Hospital and the St. Vincent Medical Center in New York, and has been a General Family Practitioner since 1986. He has been running a medical weight loss clinic since 1990. His cosmetic and aesthetic clinic has been in business since 2004. He is a staff member at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, a member of the Monterey County Medical Society, and also a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. Dr. Garcia is a member of both the American Academy of Pain Management, and the California Medical Association.
